The North Texas Chapter of the Peruvian American Medical Society (PAMS), a 501 (c) (3) non-profit organization, is planning the 4th Annual Medical Mission Trip to Ayacucho, Peru on June 6th-12th. The Mission trip will be led by Dr. Pablo Uceda, a native Peruvian, whose vascular and general surgery practice is based in South Dallas. Dr. Uceda leads a volunteer multi-speciality team including general surgery, vascular surgery, plastic/reconstructive surgery, anesthesiology, pediatric medicine and dentistry. The surgeons and other clinicians will be supported by a team of nurses, surgical technicans and other allied health professionals.
On May 15th, the North Texas Chapter of PAMS will hold a gala fundraising event at the African American Museum of Art in Fair Park. The guest of honor for this year’s gala, is world-renown, native Peruvian, Mr. Miguel Harth-Bedoya, Director and Conductor of the Fort Worth Symphony Orchestra.
All money raised will go directly to the care of the indigent patients of Ayacucho. Ayacucho Mission volunteers do not receive compensation for travel expenses or for services they provide.
In order to make our gala and mission trip a success, we are offering several levels of sponsorship. The levels of sponsorship are as follows:
Presenting Sponsor - cash/or in kind gift of $10,000 or more – Company or private name and logo as a stand alone, during the opening slide of the video presentation to be aired at the gala, full signage on all marketing materials including television, radio, printed and web materials for one year, two centrally-located tables, with seating for 8 each during the gala. Attendance and photo opportunity for 16 at the private reception for Guest of Honor Miguel Harth-Bedoya.
Gold Sponsor - cash or in kind gift of $5,000 to $9,999 - Company or private name and logo on the second slide of video presentation to be aired at the gala event. Signage on all printed and web marketing materials for one year. One table of 8, centrally located during the gala. Attendance and photo opportunity for 4 at the private reception for Guest of Honor Miguel Harth-Bedoya.
Silver Sponsor - cash gift of $1,200 to $4,999 - Company or private name and logo on the 3rd slide, full signage on all printed and web materials. Reserved seating for 4 at the gala event. Attendance and photo opportunity for 2 at the private reception.
Bronze Sponsor - cash gift of $1,000 to $1,200 - Company name and logo on the 4th slide of the video presentation. Name signage on all printed and web materials. Reserved seating for 2 at the gala event. Attendance and photo opportunity for 2 at the private reception for Guest of Honor Miguel Harth-Bedoya.
Copper Sponsor - cash gift of $500.00. Company or private name on the official invitation. Attendance and photo opportunity for 2 to the gala and private reception for Guest of Honor, Miguel Harth-Bedoya.

Founded in Peru in 1984, Wayanay Inka plays music from the Peruvian Andes and Latin America using bamboo panpipes and flutes, charangos, guitars, ronrocos, etc. They perform original compositions and traditional songs with unique style. The public will learn about Inka culture and the origin of their instruments, and listen to authentic Peruvian musicians maintaining their culture and sharing it with the world. Through remarkable talent and passionate drive, Wayanay Inka reveals everywhere the passion they feel for their cultural roots while preserving down-to-earth humility and love for human contact at the personal level.
The group has graciously agreed to donate their time to support our first event on March 28, 2009, and is paying for their own expenses.
